So very far away. Linus is out of focus. Is it an interesting visual effect or is this just a bad shot because my crappy little camera accidentally I focused on the foreground.
Will a professional or more experienced amateur please offer an opinion?

I'm certainly no expert, but I consider myself an "intermediate amateur," and I'd say the picture's a little dark. Also, there's nothing wrong with having the bulk of the picture out of focus, but the one thing that IS in focus should be a bit more interesting than a rug. ;)

The camera has a life of its own and decided to focus on the baby blanket he was lying on. I am also trying to figure out how to control the exposure let alone pick one.
I guess the subject matter biased me, but I thought it was still a cute picture and worth sharing.
